1. Check the current software version of your handsfree unit. For this purpose switch on the carkit and select Menu --> Settings --> Software version.

2. Download the corresponding software.

Since the Nokia 6280 phone has a different Bluetooth® operation, a separate software version had to be made for this phone. This software is not supporting SMS for any phone, but can be used for all other functions of all supported Bluetooth® phones.

3. Download the utility HFBluePerfectionBurn.exe or HFBluePerfectionBurn.zip.
4. Download the driver for your USB programming cable BPDrivers.zip and unpack it to a separate directory. For example: C:\BPdrivers.
5. Connect the programming cable to your PC USB socket. The following window will appear.

6. Follow the instructions for the driver's installation.

7. Click on the checkbox "Search for a suitable driver for my device (recommended)".

8. Click on the "Specify a location" checkbox and specify the directory where the drivers are located.


9. Select the file FTDIPORT.INF
10. As soon as the drivers are installed, connect the programming cable to the screen HF4-D1.
11. Unpack the file with the updating firmware to any selected directory.
12. Run the HFBluePerfectionBurn.exe program and click on the "Burn" button.
13. Select the HEX file with the firmware when the corresponding window is open and click "Open".

14. The program update process will start automatically.

15. As soon as the software update process is finished, close the program window and disconnect the programming cable from the screen unit.
