What is the Bluetooth® pairing PIN-Code of my Blue Vision II carkit?
Your Bluetooth® carkit has a default PIN-Code 0000 for pairing, which is stored in its internal memory. You are usually required to enter the PIN-Code 0000 in a pairing process with a Bluetooth® mobile phone.
I am having a telephone conversation, but the person on the other end of the line does not hear me very well.
Make sure that the microphone bracket is directed towards your mouth. This is the main working position of the microphone bracket: the front microphone should be directed to your mouth and the rear microphone to the speaker phone metal shield. We advise not to change the microphone position during a call, since an echo effect could appear.
The sound quality of my carkit is not perfect when I use it with a specific type of mobile phone (LG, Samsung, Palm…).
Some mobile phones (specific types of LG, Samsung, Palm…) require Bluetooth® operation in “headset profile” to ensure optimal sound quality. Therefore, you should activate the “headset profile” in your Blue Vision II. How to do?
Switch off the Blue Vision II. -> Press and hold the green button while pressing the Power button at the same time. -> Your Blue Vision II will now work in “headset profile”, recognizable by a different start-up tune.
To switch back to “handsfree profile”, you should follow the same procedure as described above.
Several Bluetooth® devices appear on my mobile phone while it is searching for the Blue Vision II carkit.
Most Bluetooth® enabled mobile phones can search for more than one Bluetooth® device within operative range. The Blue Vision II carkit will appear in the list of Bluetooth® devices on your mobile phone after having been found by your mobile phone. Select the Blue Vision II carkit from the list.
I cannot pair my mobile phone with the Blue Vision II.
Make sure that your phone and the carkit are switched on. Press and hold the Pairing button (the green button) for more than 5 seconds until you hear a “dong dong” sound and the battery status indicator flashes by green and red colors alternately. The pairing mode is now activated for 2 minutes (during these 2 minutes, the indicator will keep on flashing) and you can complete the pairing with your mobile phone.
If this doesn’t help, please follow these instructions:
- Remove the pairing information of all Bluetooth® devices from your mobile phone.
- Remove the battery from your mobile phone.
- Disconnect the Blue Vision II from the power supply of your car.
- Place the battery of your mobile phone back into place and activate your mobile phone. If the Bluetooth® function has been deactivated, you should activate it again.
- Connect the Blue Vision II with the power supply of your car.
- Press and hold the Pairing button for more than 5 seconds until you hear a “dong dong” sound and the battery status indicator flashes by green and red colors alternately.
- Let your mobile phone search for new Bluetooth® devices and pair the mobile phone with your carkit.
- Make sure that the Blue Vision II is indicated as “Authorized” and/or makes a connection automatically.
How can I pair a second telephone with my Blue Vision II carkit?
Pair the second phone with your Blue Vision II carkit just like you have paired the first phone. After switch on, the Blue Vision II will automatically search the last mobile phone it was connected to (which was last used with the carkit). In case this phone is not available, the Blue Vision II will automatically search for the other paired phone for connection.
My carkit is not charging even though it is plugged into the cigarette lighter jack.
Please make sure that the car ignition is turned on. Check if your cigarette lighter adapter is connected well: if connected well, the light of this adapter will light green. If necessary, clean the contact of the cigarette lighter jack. If the problem persists, please apply to a service center.
My Blue Vision II carkit doesn’t turn on when the On/Off button is pressed for 5 seconds.
The battery might be completely discharged. Connect the carkit to a power adapter and charge the battery.
